Twinning Tuesday

Happy twisted and twinning Tuesday 3rd graders! We are calling it a twisted Tuesday because our schedule was all twisted around today!
First thing this morning you went to specials. When you returned, we had a quick morning meeting and then moved on to our reading lessons for the day.
You found some examples of cause and effect that involved the character you chose to write about in Mrs. Day’s group and added it to your paragraph. We read “The Death of Balder” in our little readers. You also practiced spelling by playing musical chairs.
Next, it was time for lunch and recess. When you returned to the classroom, we continued on our viking quest. Today, we traveled to England. Leif's brother Thorstein was having some trouble raiding an English village and you decided to help him. Who remembers what berserker means?
Then it was time to load up on the bus and head to the High School to watch the play, School House of Rock, performed by the Wichita Children’s Theatre. It was so much fun! Thanks for being on your best behavior during the play. Your good behavior earned you 4 Bingo Numbers!
When we returned to school, we spent some time on Reflex and before we knew it, it was time to go home!
