Superhero Thursday

Hello 3rd graders! We began our Thursday morning by taking some time to practice for your spelling and times tests you will be taking tomorrow. Next, we had our morning meeting and talked about our announcements for the day.
After morning meeting we reviewed for your Unit 6 reading test by playing a Viking Blooket. It was an intense battle royale and Gavin was victorious!
You all took the Viking tests then you either finished your character paragraphs or completed pausing point pages for tickets.
We finished the morning by taking another practice state assessment.
After lunch, we finished our Viking Quest. We arrived in Scandinavia and added elements to our new settlement. You worked together to construct an entire town that included everything important to Vikings and Norse. Name something essential that you would add to your Viking settlement for a bonus ticket.
For math you completed another lesson comparing fractions with the same numerators. We will be taking your Module 5 tests over fractions TOMORROW!
At the end of the day we were able to get outside for a nice afternoon recess.
