Parent Teacher Conferences!

Hello 3rd graders! This blog will be short because your teachers are getting ready to meet with some of your parents! We can’t wait to tell them about all the awesome things we are doing and learning in 3rd grade!

• In today’s read-aloud, you learned about the axial bones in the skeletal system.

• During reading rotations you read chapter 1 in your little readers, played “skeletal” simon says, discussed common and proper nouns, practiced this week’s spelling pattern, and sequenced

• You unlocked all the Daily 5 Choices!

• We finished Because of Winn Dixie and started to watch the movie

• After lunch, we continued our Animal Habitat Presentations.

• For math, you had a teacher lesson about estimating sums by rounding, completed a menu activity or went to prime time, and math fact practice on Reflex.

At the end of the day, you got outside for some fresh air! Don’t forget you have a times test tomorrow!
