FRIDAYYY
Happy Friday 3rd graders! During our morning meeting we had a special show and tell from one of our star students of the week, Emily! Those kittens sure are cute!

During our reading rotations you met with Mrs. Day to find closing sentences.
In Mrs. Meridith’s group you read Chapter 10 in your little readers and learned all about different kinds of reptiles. As you read, we used context clues to help us figure out the meaning of any unknown words. You also took your very first spelling test!
Some of you met for Reading Prime Time, while others worked on Word Work. Then, we took some time to make birthday cards for Mrs. Anderson.
After lunch and recess, we were joined by Mrs. Anderson and we got to help celebrate her birthday with a song and cards! After the birthday celebration, you took this week’s multiplication times test. Congrats to the students who passed! Keep practicing those facts!
For today’s math rotations, you met with your teachers for another lesson involving measurement with kilograms and grams. For a bonus ticket, comment below which unit you would use to measure an m&m ---gram or kilogram? You also worked on your menu or went to prime time and completed technology time on Dreambox or Reflex.
At the end of the day, we chose 3 more ticket winners! Aiden also brought a special show and tell! It was a fabulous Friday. Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday!
