Mrs. Meridith
Hello! I'm Mrs. Day. This is my eighth full year teaching, and my seventh year teaching in Wellington. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!). After finishing college, I taught for 1.5 years in Oklahoma.
I am originally from Caldwell, so I'm very excited to be close to my family and hometown.
My family is a huge part of why I became a teacher in the first place. My dad, both of my older sisters, and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins are educators, too. I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and I can't wait to share my enthusiasm for learning with my students.
When I'm not at school, you can find me volunteering at my church or spending time on the farm with my husband, Colton, son, Tanner, and our Border Collie, Ruby.
I believe communication between school and home is an integral part of a child's education, so feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to a great year with you!
Hi! I'm Mrs. Meridith. I graduated in May 2020 from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. This will be my third year at Eisenhower on the 3rd grade team!
I was born and raised in Nebraska, but moved to Kansas in 2014 when I met my husband, Dray. Shortly after I moved, he encouraged me to follow my dream to go back to school and become a teacher. I am so happy that I did!
In my free time, you can find me at home spending time with my husband, our daughter, Kolbie and our two Labrador Retrievers, Jax and June.
